2.  After powering on and preheating for fifteen minutes, reset all equipment to zero and allow the equipment to dissipate heat. The cooling time should not be less than fifteen minutes; 

3.  After cooling, you can officially enter the music performance stage; 

4.  After the performance is over and the guests leave, the lighting engineer should turn off all equipment and allow the equipment to dissipate heat for fifteen to twenty minutes. Then the equipment should be sealed or masked before the lighting engineer can leave. The maintenance of lighting equipment is more complicated and trivial than that of audio equipment. It basically requires daily routine testing, weekly regular testing, monthly equipment maintenance and proper debugging; 

Routine testing scope includes: 

1.  Whether the light bulb can light up normally;     

2.  Whether all equipment connections are normal; 

3. Whether all equipment can be used normally, including light switches, color changer controls, computer light movements, etc.; 

4. Whether the DMX512 signal can control the lamps normally; 

5. Whether the special effects equipment is in normal use and filled with required materials, such as: smoke machine, fog machine, snow machine, bubble machine, etc.; stage lighting

Regular weekly testing In addition to all the items of daily monitoring, the following points should also be paid attention to during weekly regular testing: 

1.  During the weekly inspection, we mainly check the connections of the equipment, including power connections, DMX512 connections, etc., to see if there is any looseness, breakpoints, etc.; 

2.  At the same time, during weekly inspection, the lamp position and DMX512 programming should be adjusted comprehensively; 

Monthly equipment maintenance and appropriate adjustments 

In addition to all the work of daily monitoring and weekly testing, appropriate monthly adjustments will be a very detailed job that requires coordination from multiple departments, such as actors, bands, weak electricity, security, cleaning, etc., while performing monthly During inspection, the following tasks must be completed.

1.  Lamp position adjustment; because some lamp positions may move or the guest area may change during use, resulting in lamp position changes, so the position must be adjusted every month, including computer lights controlled by DMX512 signals. ; 2. Detection of mechanical equipment, including computer light motors, color changer motors, special effects equipment nozzles, etc.;

3. Check all lines. Check whether there are breakpoints, damage, and leakage, because it is inevitable that some human factors will cause various unexpected situations in the line during use, such as exposed wires that are stepped on and broken, wires that are frequently plugged and unplugged or have breakpoints, Occasionally, the circuit leakage or even short circuit due to spilled drinks, so this test should be done very carefully. This detection requires weak electricity to complete; 

4. Clean the dust and garbage inside and outside the lamp. When the light is in use, there will be some garbage, such as the garbage left in the lamp body after the bulb explodes. In addition, computer lights and special effects machinery that have been exposed to the audience area for a long time can easily fall into some garbage, such as ribbons, glass particles, and alcoholic beverages. residual liquid, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to wipe away the garbage and dirt on the outside of the lamp, and remove the garbage inside the lamp. This process requires cleaning cooperation;

5. Check all fire protection equipment. Lighting and audio are the most concentrated types of work in the circuit. Strong electricity flows in and weak electricity comes out. There are many related equipment and more related wires. Therefore, fire prevention is the top priority in lighting work.
